Forgot Your Fingerprint?, 2015
Inkjet pigment print, iPhone, iPad, dimensions variable
As a sequel to Forgot Your Password?, Forgot Your Fingerprint? raises anxiety and vulnerability of using one’s irreplaceable fingerprint as a personal identification. Using biometrics for accessing internet, one’s own physical body now became a password. Unlike a numeral or textual password, one cannot change his fingerprint, so what looks like a security upgrade could turn out to be something much more complex. Invisible and unintentionally made fingerprints on touch screens are highlighted and enlarged.
